I have great news for all fashion enthusiasts around the world. Dresscodenation launched their website www.dresscodenation.co.uk with a bang! The platform is created to connect all individuals in different fashion fields nationally and internationally. You can create your profile with no joining fee and publish your portfolio. This website will definitely help individuals working on growing within the industry to promote their work and stay connected. The website advertises any upcoming events and vacancies within the Fashion industry.

The website launch party that was held at the NY-LON bar o2 was fantastic. The venue was awesome as well as the guests and atmosphere at the party. Dresscodenation released a short clip of their advert shoot that was filmed in the Youtube Studios, which involved many well known bloggers, stylists, photographers, models and makeup artists. At the end of the event, all guests were given a goodie bag with a range of products from Nivea, Vita CoCo, Propercorn, Lifeinparadigm and Distinctive wash, that I loved.

Review: Louis Vuitton SERIES 3 Exhibition

Louis Vuitton SERIES 3 is an exhibition located in the building 'The Strand', London. This exhibition showcases the brands AW15/16 collection, which was staged in March and the creative process and influences each design goes through. The designer incorporates the journey between past he embraced and the future. As described on the exhibition flyer "Series 3 is a sensorial journey, venturing deep into the designer's soul and an artisan's heart. An adventure along the emotional corridors of Louis Vuitton." When I was invited to visit the exhibition with the Dresscodenation team I didn't have an insight of what to expect as there was not much information shared on the official website. 

The exhibition space had a series of rooms each containing elements of the collection and the artists inspiration behind them. I loved the infinite show, where the catwalk show from the AW15/16 collection was screened. The set up of mirrors and stairs, which we were allowed the walk around made me feel as though I was present at the catwalk. A workshop was set up, where a Parisian artisan works on one of the most popular pieces, a small trunk. Gluing the leather and adding all the gold locks on to the trunk a specialist is needed to complete, which takes up to 30 hours on each piece.

Accessories gallery was one of the highlights of the exhibition. The blindingly white room contained the accessories of the show. Near the end we were greeted by a walk-in wardrobe with key pieces from the show. The items were protected with clear cases. I absolutely loved the exhibition and would recommend all to visit.

Hello all,
Just wanted to share with you all how I managed to get my hair to grow healthier and longer, with it's natural bounce. After bleaching my hair twice in two days it resulted in my hair turning platinum blonde It looked horrid, so I decided to dye hair back to brown the same (Don't ask why) and as you might imagine IT TURNT GREEN so I had to cut out most of my hair. It was so damaged that I couldn't even let it down, but thankful to being introduced to these products I finally have healthier and longer hair. I had to get a hair cut once a month to get rid of the split ends aswell. The oil I use its pure coconut oil, which could be found everywhere. As this one I use is solid I use a microwave to heat it for 1 minute or less. Once it melts I put it on a couple of hours before washing my hair. The organ oil hair mask is used once every week after washing my hair. I apply the mask when my hair is towel dry keep it on for 7-10 minutes and rinse with warm water. The argan oil mask really makes my hair look very healthy and treats my hair allowing it to repair any split ends. I would definitely suggest you all to use these products as my hair feels nice long and healthy now.

I know it's been a while since my last blog, so I thought i'd share my experience with you all at the Netherlands.  The main purpose of my visit was to check out the exclusive sneakers in Holland such as Royaums and Mason Garments, which unfortunately was out of stock in nearly every store I went to.

I visited Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht, where I had a chance to shop and visit various buildings.

Summer leather sandal picks.

This summer I have found that people feel much more confident to show their feet (even those who have the common feet phobia) so now is the time to invest in a pair of these beautiful leather sandals. Looking back at the SS14 collections I absolutely love the leather slip on combinations. To those who have a pair of classic Birkenstocks that haven't been worn for a while, now is definitely the right time to get them out. Final week at the ASOS Stitching Academy

On our final week we had the opportunity to make something much more intense. I chose to make a frilly hem jacket, which I found quite hard to construct especially to draw out the pattern. This week went by very fast as I spent majority of the time producing the jacket. The whole experience at the ASOS x Fashion Capital Stitching Academy was priceless. To make something so detailed after the six week project was impressive. The learning environment was great. From having very little knowledge about constructing and designing garments to be able to make detailed items within a few days felt immense. I feel confident using the Overlocker, flat machine, cover stitch and binding machine. I believe I have built up a very strong Fashion portfolio with this course and hoping to move onto employment within the Fashion industry.
