Top pick winter boots.

Hello beauties,
As you might know people tend to find it harder to look stylish for winter as we think it limits us to what we could wear. With these beautiful statement boots I've picked you will now be able to complete your looks with a faboulous finish. The over-the-knee-boots look beautiful on knit dresses and longline coats withal compliments every outfit. The two ankle boots I have chosen are absolutely stunning and could be worn to go out day or night. Living in London, most of winter is spent raining, which is why I chose these cute Valentino Wellies. Would look great on a all black outfit to boost the look with the signature Valentino studs.

Markthal Rotterdam.

I know it's been a while since my last blog, so I thought i'd share my experience with you all at the Netherlands.  The main purpose of my visit was to check out the exclusive sneakers in Holland such as Royaums and Mason Garments, which unfortunately was out of stock in nearly every store I went to.

I visited Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Utrecht, where I had a chance to shop and visit various buildings.

Summer leather sandal picks.

This summer I have found that people feel much more confident to show their feet (even those who have the common feet phobia) so now is the time to invest in a pair of these beautiful leather sandals. Looking back at the SS14 collections I absolutely love the leather slip on combinations. To those who have a pair of classic Birkenstocks that haven't been worn for a while, now is definitely the right time to get them out. These sandals are my fave and look lovely with a pair of classic denim jeans. They look wonderful and complement your feet.

Final week at the ASOS Stitching Academy

On our final week we had the opportunity to make something much more intense. I chose to make a frilly hem jacket, which I found quite hard to construct especially to draw out the pattern. This week went by very fast as I spent majority of the time producing the jacket. The whole experience at the ASOS x Fashion Capital Stitching Academy was priceless. To make something so detailed after the six week project was impressive. The learning environment was great. From having very little knowledge about constructing and designing garments to be able to make detailed items within a few days felt immense. I feel confident using the Overlocker, flat machine, cover stitch and binding machine. I believe I have built up a very strong Fashion portfolio with this course and hoping to move onto employment within the Fashion industry.

Week Five at the ASOS Stitching Academy.

On our return to the Stitching Academy, I continued working on my t-shirt. I decided to make a few changes, which I couldn't manage to finish on Monday. We visited ASOS HQ, which included a tour around the building. I was given the opportunity to take a closer look at the fashion cycle in the successful and growing company. This was definitely one of the most inspiring trips that helped me understand different fashion fields and how they function. When we got back on Wednesday I completed my t-shirt and inserted the mesh I planned out. Even though I made a few mistakes I now feel confident in making garments and get precise measurements. The last two days of the week I worked on Unit 2, which consisted of creating samples of accurate stitches and overlock styles.

Week Four at the ASOS Stitching Academy.

This week we got a lot more practical, I initiated the week by finishing my skirt off and perfecting any errors I made. I feel that I have improved and broadened my knowledge within pattern cutting and stitching accurately. I continued to practise using the overlocker machine the following day to begin working on another garment. I progressed to constructing a sample t-shirt, which I formed using definite measurements. After I completed the sample I began to take measurements to construct a pattern for my programmed t-shirt. After cutting the patterns for my garment I combined the pieces and created a t-shirt, which I was very pleased with.

Week Three at the ASOS Stitching Academy

On our third week at the Stitching Academy we began the first day working on our folders, finishing our first unit off. We were trained on how to use the binding machine, which was a lovely experience.  The binding machine was quite easy to use but very complicated to thread. Our second day we jumped on to working with the overstitch, which was a lot more easier to thread and use. We began to sketch our ideas on the third day to design a pattern for a skirt. We were taught how to measure the body and create the pattern using the measurements. We studied the fashion production cycle, where we were toured around the factory making notes on how you create a garment for costumers. On the last day of the week I began constructing a sample skirt to practice on how to sew and cut the material together. I found it very simple and I felt satisfied and ready to move onto making the real thing.

Week Two at the ASOS Stitching Academy

On our second week at the Academy we started using the overlocking machines, which consisted of 3, 4, 5 dials and the baby locker. We identified all of the parts and learnt how to thread, we then moved on to making samples. We began to make a skirt using the 4 dial overlocker where we overlocked the sides and connected them together. I used the overlocker on the hem, folded the end and put them together using the flat sewing machine. We were taught how to finish garments using different hem and seam techniques.

Week One at the ASOS Stitching Academy.

Our first day at the Factory was great. We were provided with examples of different stitching methods. We had to follow them to familiarise with the industrial sewing machines. When we were ready we went onto the next step and started applying the samples on actual fabric. The second day we continued to sample on fabric and got to know the machines. We were taught how to dispose needles effectively and check the oil levels. On our third day we had a tour around the factory and had a look at the production cycle. We began to cut out some patterns to create a jersey t-shirt. We continued to work on our T-shirt's the next day. As our first attempt trying the put the garnet together didn't go great we decided to give it another go and start from scratch. We re-cut our patterns and started working on it again. We learnt different techniques to have the perfect finish on your garnets.  On our final day of the first week we managed to finish off our garmets, which we were happy with.

Best dressed at the CFDA Fashion Awards.

Alessandra Ambrosio was definitely the best dressed in the CFDA Fashion Awards. She kept it simply but classy with her red floor length gown. I personally think less is more, with her minimal make-up with gold accessories. The red definitely showed her flawless figure and tan. I loved the detail at the centre front of the dress.

Rihanna's CFDA Fashion Awards Party outfit review.

Rihanna, she's always been an artist that female's in particular take inspiration from. I personally loved her style at one point, however at the moment I do believe she has gone slightly too far. She showed up at the CFDA awards practically naked and decided to cover up her hair wearing a turban, which allowed her face to be more focused (even though people couldn't stop looking at her body). I loved the detail and 230,000 crystals but would've definitely loved it more if there was a nude linen under the sheer material. I praise Rihanna for her confidence especially within her body but I do think she influences young girls to wearing minimal amount of clothes. I absolutely loved her make-up and the beautiful glow on her body.

Hair treatment.

After bleaching my hair twice in two days my hair got extremely damaged which led me to cut most of my hair off, so had to look after my hair and do treatments. These products have actually saved my life. From really dead and damaged hair to much healthier hair. I would really recommend these to those with really damaged hair. You can find the shampoo, conditioner and oil in your local drugstore. The mask however is from my local hairdressers (Sacha Hair), not too sure about where else you might find this hair mask.

Review on Real Techniques Brushes

These brushes are a life saver absolutely amazing stuff, cheap and very quality so would definitely recommend these. I've also purchased the bronzing brush, which I use as a foundation brush cause I find it blends very well.

Product review on Benefit products.

After watching a few make-up tutorials and amazing reviews on the Benefit Watt's up highlighter, I finally got my hands on them. Was a little pricey but lasts forever. The Pore fessionals powder also by Benefit is probably the best i've ever used. Comes with a brush, which is amazing. Absolutely love these two products and it gets even better when you get a free make-up bag when you purchase two items with Benefit (Happy days haha).

Get cleaning haha

Well before purchasing shoes that are white (mainly sneakers) we always think they'll get dirty too quick. Even though the vans on the photo are leather it isn't really easy to wipe the dirt, so I've found a solution. I used this cleaning product which is used to clean ovens bath tubs etc etc on my shoes and it really worked. As you can see on the photo that it got rid of all the muddy stains on my vans:) These vans are about a year and a half old and they are still looking fresh haha, doesn't really look fresh in the photo as it isn't clear. I would really recommend this.
